Say "hi" to Geraldine

I picker her up last weekend for a cool $1000, from a great guy in upper Westchester. A pretty pristine example of a '78 CX 500D. He took great care of her, and almost cried when we loaded her up to take her away.  Had a total of 16800 miles, and 1 very small dent in the tank.

Sweeet.  My first CX was just that color combo with a Vetter fairing and a KG king & queen seat.  Welcome aboard.

Mine looks exactly the same but I thought it was called a standard. What's the difference between a standard and a deluxe?

I wish mine looked that nice when I got it. Mine sat behind a barn for 18 years. Not a nice mental picture is it?
Sweet ride Jay. Enjoy
