Gear shift lever oil seal leaking

Hi guys, need your help once again..
I have an oil leak from the gear shift lever, is it possible to change the oil seal with the engine in the frame???

1983 GL500, stripped down for rebuild. 1983 GL500, Plain, just purchased as a spare. 2005 Kawasaki ER-5, used for travelling to work. 1989 Kawasaki GPZ750, another project..

Yes, it is.
Just take the gear shifter off, carefully pry the old seal out. Put a new one (slightly oiled) in, then put the gear shifter back on, in the same position it was.
Just takes a minute (or three).
