I speak no Dutch, and read just as much, but I think this pic is a bike in a junkyard near the ocean somewhere.
1978 CX500 - I live on a one-way street that's also a dead end. I'm not sure how I got here, or how I'm going to get out.

That's Jonah's CX... regurgitated upon the shore by a very large fish a long time ago.
Madonna started a cult after its discovery off the coast of Israel a few years ago. She and her followers go down to the beach in the dead of night to dance (naked), sing songs and pray for world peace.
Al Gore was there to pay his respects a few weeks ago and now has the CDI unit and is claiming to have designed/invented it.

The real shame is that it appears to be a CX500E. The knobby on the front wheel is a hint that torture was involved in it's final days . . . That would be a tough place to work on it, especially at high tide!

OK, sorry, but I'm going to have to report you guys to the screen writers guild, you're not supposed to work while on strike!
As soon as AL "the sky is falling" Gore saw the picture, he promptly fueled his private jet, burned 55,000lbs of fuel flying to the site, then took his convoy of 6MPG SUV's there to make sure it could never run again, after which he proudly patted himself on the back and gave himself some carbon credits.

It's a Sea Ex-650 
Wasn't it in the U.K. somewhere a little while back, a bunch of containers washed off of a floundering ship and spilled their contents all along the coast. I remember seeing news stories showing people pulling new motor-cycles, among other things, out of the surf.
I wonder if it they were ever able to get titles for them.

Sea-X650 with SeaFoam Flooded Carbs. I swear if you look at the air box just right you can see the Madonna too (the other one.)
The "Napoli" was the ship that grounded off the coast of Devon in England. The bikes were BMW's in the crates, worth about 15000 Pounds each...the fine for not giving them back (if caught) was 2500 pounds. Our English listers probably remember that many of the "salvaged" items were showing up on eBay, some of them even listed their provenance as "The Napoli." When the fines and threats didn't work to keep people away from the beach, suddenly the looters were destroying the environment by leaving stuff on the beach.
The UK has entire towns and villages which used to alter navigation beacons to ground ships and liberate their cargo.

I'll grab the pitchforks, and you grab the torches, we're going to loot something!! Yup, the laws of salvage stretch wide and far, why just today, while working on an unamed state highway, I found an old fuel tank for a "Lawn Boy" mower. I hope there is no fine for keeping my booty.
That poor old CX.....I'm sure many had the same reaction as me. It was like looking at any dead, beached sea creature, it's suffering is over, but it's still a bit sad to realize it had to go.

If you think this is bad, an e-bay seller, Pinwall Cycles just disasembled a working, driving 10,000 mile CX650C to sell the parts on E-bay. In fact ,they have videos of it being driven, gauge tests, and even a stator output test.
THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE BIKE. (except for a small dent in the fuel tank)
Stupid bastards. I could see disassembling a wreck, or even a high mileage bike. . . but 10,000 miles, that shop owner should have a rim job. And by a rim job, I mean a rim shoved up his arse sideways. (Front rim. WITH a tire on it.)
Two CX500 Turbos, GL650I, CX650C, CX650E.
Why do I own five bikes? Because I'm not married. DUH! (and I haven't taken a vacation in two years. . . . )

There's a way to get at the root site, it'll work with most browsers. Right click over the image, then in the window that pops up choose "properties", you will usually get the site where the image is hosted, copy and past into the address bar.

Well, mechanically there might not have been anything wrong,
but whenever you see a car/bike/truck whatever in running condition being
disassembled for parts...there's usually a BIG problem with the
paperwork. Call me cynical, but I bet the whole bike is as Hot as the
exhaust pipe.

For those wanting top dollar for a car or motorcycle, parting out will usually make you much more $$$ so it's not always something crooked going on. About 2 years ago someone parted out a somewhat beat up 650 Turbo on ebay. Yes it was a school bike so the legal and paperwork issues would cause problems.
After the auctions were over I started adding. I stopped counting at $10,000.00. I've seen exactly one 650T sell for $10,000.00. It only had a few hundred miles on it, was NOT a school bike and was quite possibly the best one in existence. The illegal beat up school bike made much more money.
There's also a few dealers who order new bikes, take them out of the crate and gut them. They put the parts up on ebay with a "buy it now" and can triple their profit on that bike over selling it. I've been buying wear and tear parts for my Busa that way. Cush rubbers would have cost me $60 bucks from my local dealer. I bought a brand new drum assembly with bearings, sprocket and cush rubbers installed for $50. Saved $10 bucks and I have valuable spare parts. Dealer made a huge profit.
Of course with the above you have to factor in labor to disassemble everything. And for complete classic vehicles it's blasphemy imo.
