correctness! We are hot and he is wondering why I am snapping photos and why we are not riding. Taken in Georgia last spring. Felt like 100 degrees in the sun.

Well it looks like I should have been in here sooner. I just assumed I wouldn't know anybody. Turns out, I'm in here already. I don't even remember you taking that pic Steve.

Let's kick this off again. This photo was taken on a day ride at the Amish rally in 2008. To claim credit, both guys need to be correctly identified.

In the recent pic with Dave and Kevin, nobody IDed Ernie from Ct. (GL1800, CX650C) I'll get a pic to post, but it may be a few days. I'll need to email it to Blindstitch as I'm digitally handicapped. Go on without me for now. Also, I cannot see any pics at work, only on the home pc.

Thanks again, Don, for the publishing. VMD a Jap bike event? You should go sometime Phil! Last year the marque was BSA, the year before was Triumph. Year before that I think was HD. It covers extensively ALL vintage bikes. The year of the pic was about 2004 I think. Last anyone has seen of Jon Gibson. Good ID Phil, I thought that one would stump folks, but then, we have some vintage members too, eh?

Rich, thanks for giving Phil the correct info, you beat me to it! Phil, you really should attend, at least one time. The races with the old time bikes were great but the boneyard was the greatest attraction, I think. The day I went through it I saw bikes & other stuff I had not seen since my teenage years. I am going to try to attend this year, riding the hack (so I can't fall over in the mud) and pulling the camper so I will have a comfortable bed! I may have one local rider going with me, if you want to come through this way I can probably find a nail to hang you on for a nights rest. Its not really a fun ride because 98% will be interstate but at least it gets you there quick!
Rich, a question, you probably can answer. I think I should be able to ride the hack in the boneyard area, do you agree. Maybe if I keep my handicapped parking permit where it can be seen they will let me in. I don't know if I will be able to walk all of it. What say you? Gene

Gene, a lot of folks ride bikes thru the scrap yard, er, I mean the swop meet. Usually they are small motorbikes and scooters though. I would think that once the party gets going, it would be very difficult to drive a rig as big and wide as yours thru the crowds (they scream when you run them over, it sounds awful ) That said, early in the day, and Friday in particular, the crowds are smaller.

Rich, how bout if you ride in the sidecar then with your extra any screams would be quickly cut off! I was in the bone yard on Saturday & there were quite a few "things" whizzing about, but none, as you said, as large as my hack. Maybe I can use it to move from one section to another, seems to be it was a little up hill & that gets tough for those with half a heart! Gene

Rich, a "cow" catcher sounds good, maybe we could find one with a "quick disconnect"!
How much would you charge to make a mid-night run to Low Gap, kidnap Phil & replant him in Vermont? I did not connect him & the snow but you are exactly right, it has found him again! I am sure I would not have any trouble raising the money, especially if we could approach his neighbors(North Carolina, we better not let his former Vermont neighbors know he is coming back). Gene
