for 79 cx500... rebuilding bike but the piston is corroded and stuck to the caliper. after pulling, twisting, banging, can of penetrant, torch, it still wont budge any. If you have a front brake caliper post what you want for it, I'm watching a couple on ebay right now goin for 25-50$. One of them is even chrome oooo

I believe the '78 thru '81 CX are the same single piston caliper, but the bracketing may change over the years

Hey Daniel, does that 81 caliper you have come with hose, and master cylender? I have an 81 and basically need the whole front brake assembly (as well as some other stuff) let me know man. thanks.

sorry I need the MC. I don't have anything in my hands yet. just mailed some $$ to a guy in Tacoma, Washington.

He was selling the whole front brake system. will see what he sends me. I may have just the hose and caliper for ya.

What happened to your front brake to begin with? oh wait i'll read you post
