Crazy f**n life ....

Aye - my ol' puter takes me about  a mile or two to get online - with about 24 special sequence requests - but I'm now used to it ....... as I can't complain - my puter may be older than some newbie bikers <LOL> ...... I bought it back in 1990 ..... n' it's still kickin' albeit upgraded with 1998 Windows <grin> and 2000 Netscape 4.78 - aye I'm also an antique   ....... <LOL> ...... otherwise, I'm still listening to "Guess Who" n' "Steppenwolf"  n' still got my eyes open ........... so, I know that I'm just  being a fool, but laugh with me - rather than laugh at me - as I've been bikin' for over 44 years - n' believe I know a little about bikes n' rebuilding - albeit have found others on the thread similar  - that know more about Honda's - Aye - I'm still learning about my CX500 *(nice little bike)) n' overall easy to work on till I hit the friggin' "triple bypass" - but I did get 3 years n'' over 2,700 km outta her  with only a single bypass (stator) ....... anyway, I'm long winded when I'm drinkin' ............n' guess the moral of my story is I  wouldn't change a thing in my life - however "Crazy I've Lived" - as I drove the best cars n' bikes - and believe or not - CX is included in the best ..... so my friends n' email junkiess - n' newbie Honda riders - It's good as long as you want to play the game of - damn I got a 30 year ol' classic bike n' it's gonna cost me to keep it on the road !" ........ Hence: so many newbiess think their getting a deal of a cheap bike - but overall believe it's a goodun' - n' I may say it is - but the proof is in the puddiing - as over 2,000 agree ....... these bikes are worth the effort n' money invested in them !!!!

Cheers, n' Happy Trails Ahead, as I go back to Steppenwolf n' "Born to be Wild!" ...

1990 computer eh? I think I was in about second grade....

I've had my CX500C for about four years now. Put in a new stator and cam chain tensioner this spring. It was expensive, but still cheaper than buying a new bike and I'll make it up in gas (my car is a 79 lincoln continental). Plus I absolutely love this bike and it runs great now!
Screw politics...I just want to burn things down!
