Hi you turbo guys. I never come to this section of this forum because I don't have a turbo.

I assume since it is a rather rare model that some of you are always looking for one? Well I saw one at a bike shop the other day and thought somebody might like to hear about it.

It was at Sport Wheels in Jordan, MN. Phone # 952-492-2715. They are open Tues-Saturdays. Sorry, I don't remember the price tag, but I do know that the price is always negotiable there.

Noticed that they did not list a price though. Their reply to an email inquiry regarding the asking price was "thanks for email can you call and ask for sales department when you have a chance thanks, Sport Wheels"

If I remember correctly, this bike has been for sale since I started looking last summer. They've listed it a bunch of times on Craigslist, and a couple on eBay, I think. The right offer might get a good deal.

I was at sportwheels a couple weekends ago and it looked really nice, so it would definitely be worth spending some money for it

It's a restoration project. Hopefully that's a poor paint job on an original 500 fairing and not a 650 fairing bastardized to fit.

Some people may be able to live with a non-standard paint job, but the real question is .... when was the triple bypass done. The gold wheels do not go well with the white, that's for sure. Sometimes it's good to look at others' experiments so as to know what works and what doesn't aesthetically... sure beats having to do expensive experimentation on your own.
