It is late and this will be short.  We are doing better day by day.  We got caught in some very rough weather, I thought the trailer was going to take flight and Don's tent took on some water.  The wind, yesterday and today has been rough, when it comes in from the front quarter it pushs hard and takes a great deal of effort to keep from being blown off the bike and keep it on the correct side of the road.  Don seems to favor the left side, don't know why?  Everything is performing well, however gas mileage has been as low as 23mpg and as high as 30.  It seems our speed and the wind are the biggest factors.  Tomorrow we head for the Badlands and Mt. Rushmore.  Jason, thanks so much for posting my Spot emails.  That thing is great, we are in a motel tonight we badly needed a shower and as soon as we hit the parking lot I pushed the button.  I talked to Mabel about 45 minutes later and the email had already been received and my position  had been relayed to her!  Don't know when we will get access to wifi again.
