control lever interchange

I have an 81 GL500 (non interstate), and i am trying to find more comfortable / sportier looking brake and clutch levers for my bike.  I have not been able to find much that is made for the bike, but i keep noticing how similar the levers on other honda bikes look.  for instance, the brake lever on a GL1500 Goldwing looks like it would fit perfectly.  Plus that one has an adjustment for distance.

Has anyone switched levers with a different bike?  if so, what model, year, etc..........

Thanks!!!!

(PS:  If this has been covered in a previous thread, please excuse me.  I cannot get the search fucntion to work for some reason.)

To replace the the clutch lever I think you would need a whole lever assy not just the lever as for the brake, I changed out the whole master cylinder for a Kawasaki ZX600r radial type, Saves space and has adjustments on it. Im still working on the clutch side Ill post if I find a good one.
Yes sir. I know I just ruined your weekend, but I'm not the one who blew up their bike Thursday night at the Burnout contest! Have a nice day!

I bought a bucket of miscellaneous levers of the 'bay awhile back. One of them worked as a shorty clutch lever with only a little sanding, I can try to dig around and see if there is another similar lever if that's what you're looking for. No luck matching the brake side yet.

Edit: Forgot to mention mine's an 82 CX500C. Attention to detail! Agh! No idea if they're the same as your bike.
