Looking for bonnet (top fairing) screws and spacers CX500TC

I'm looking for the screws 90111-MC7-000 (and spacers?) near the mirrors for CX500TC. http://www.cmsnl.com seems to have them but there's a 10 Euro min, and at appears that the shipping cost by the calculator on their website would cost me about $45 for 2 screws!!!

No takers on this topic, eh? You'd think I could get these with all the parts listed on ebay, but everyone I've contacted hasn't beed able to find them... Noboby on the forum have any of these?

Heck,
Just do like I do and buy a whole other bike for spares. In the long run you'll be far ahead.
Actually---I feel your pain. They have two screws I need, but like you they would charge me 45.00 for the shipping which is ridiculous.

OK, well I haven't worked the "spare bike" concept yet with the wife... Although I was looking at one on ebay... It was pretty beat up. I asked for some more pictures of the bike to be able to determine if it was worth the trouble but the screws I'm looking for where not on the bike either, just rusty bolts... OK, so buying a bike for the fairing screws seems a little over the top... I've emailed like 8 different guys parting out CX500TC on ebay but not a one has been able to come up with these screws. I can live with the temporary screws I have right now... I guess these screws are just some of the harder things to get for these bikes...

Try alternative part #90147-KR1-760 on Service Honda (http://www.servicehonda.com ) or Parts Fish (http://www.powersportspro.com/ ).
I'm looking for a replacement one too for my 83 CX650T. According to the Honda parts manual the "original" pn's are identical. My CXT parts number CD lists the alternative pn too as a replacement for 90111-MC7-000.
It’s basically chrome plated 6mm x16mm machine crew with an oversized Philips truss-style head. I have a similar stainless steel one in its place at the moment
I believe the “spacers” you are referring to are the 6mm 1.0 pitch threaded special? Spacers that fit between the upper portion of the inner dash panel through the windscreen and upper fairing bonnet and have the three little “tangs” for holding against the upper dash panel

U Da Man - daBEERSinCT,
I'll give this a shot, the shipping cost is a bit less, only $9... I'm thinking I'll be told it's not stocked anymore though.
Thanks for the alturnate PN. I had not run across it in my research. I think the COLLAR 64107-ME7-000 is what I was thinking of...
Hey, where in CT are you? I'm in Westport, MA...

Thanks Showkey too good to be true I guess? Maybe CXTCs (Dan Topping) has some laying around? Need to talk to him anyway about replacment windscreens.
Sorry to mislead then. There may be "alternative" (non-discontinued) parts available either from a similar style bike like an ST1100. I ordered a fairing bolf for a friend who lost one off his ST1100 last year from Service Honda which looked really similar and almost fit. It had an extra sholder behind the head of the bolt.
Alternatives are out ther none-the-less???
I believe that the original part measurements for the bonnet bolt are 6mm diameter x 16mm long.
Meantime you can do what I did and use a cheese head machine bolt with a washer or you may be able to swap bolts with others on the lower part of the fairing. Swapping them out with the cheese head bolts which should be hidden from immediate view.
Guess we'll need to compete for spare canabalized CXT parts on E.B.
I live in Southern CT but I'm no stranger to MA.
There are more CX/GL riders up in the Northesast than you may think. Most of them know this fourm too.
Take care....

Showkey has been confirmed, this just in from ServiceHonda...
"The special bolt has been discontinued by Honda. Please let me
know if you would like to order the collar still.
Jen" I bought my CX500TC from a guy in CT. He was the 3rd owner of the bike, I met the 2nd owner on this forum. Still would like to get history from the first owner... Anway, I appriciate the responses and leads... I have been in contact with CXTC Dan, his response: "I do not have any more of those bonnet screws and spacers. I have
sold a bunch of them. The spacers are different between the 500 and
650. I have none left." So, yes it would be great if we could find a similar part from a more modern bike... Thanks again!
