'78 CX500 for sale: Windjammer fairing, 17,000 mi on engine, 37,000 on running gear. Good water pump seal, timing chain and tensioners, rewound stator. Also has Hondaline crashbars, luggage rack, and backrest. This machine was my commuter bike until the CDI box died. The only thing needed to be on the road is the CDI box. The fork oil, final drive fluids changed and radiator is in good shape with fresh coolant. The old rusty header pipes are still on but the parts bike has a pretty good set. Overall appearance is good, not great. All side covers on, etc but one of the fairing lenses was lost . Parts bike has a good stator, water pump seal and timing chain tensioners. Don't have photos at this time but will have them soon. Located near Victoria, TX. Will deliver within 200 mi. for fuel costs.
See additional info added. Will trade for BMW R100 saddlebags, rear rack, and tool kit.
