For the few of you that saw it in another post by Connella2008, My friend Frank has finally posted his bike for sale. It is by far the cleanest custom I have seen, and has all the stuff done to it that we wish we had done to ours.

First off let me say this. Holy sheep sh*t Batman, what a nice bike. I completly love that it. I have three questions. Maybe you can answer.
Why does he claim 70 MPG?
Is the " Honda Comstar" on the rims a sticker?
Were they suppose to be on there originaly?

Michael,
I will have to change my claim of 70 mpg. I have not ridden it much but when I do it may be between 50-60. Jetting may have helped with airflow .
Honda Comstar Wheels are original to my knowledge , they are honda decals original. These came on the bike when I originally got it. I am assuming that they are original . If anyone knows different please let me know

Yes Franky and Cheese, They are original stickers from Honda! That just goes to show just how pristine this bike is. I have to say Frank, I am proud to have been a small part of this to do some of the polishing for you. I hope who ever gets it takes good care of it!

The stickers came on the 1980 customs, probably the deluxe too.
Are the mufflers off a Standard/Deluxe model or are they aftermarket?

I just talked to Frank, and he said that he got those pipes with the bike when he bought it! They were part of a complete new exhaust system kit that came with it. They are after market I'm sure, because they do not have any of the factory wording stamped in them like the stock ones. I think that's a good thing because if the pipes are blown out inside, one more than the other, it would make the back pressure uneven and hard to tune!

Yep,So far! The guy that took it to $2500.00 is from the UK. That was his reserve! Not much more than 1 other bid! It will be fun to see if the fireworks start on Sundays ending bids! I can only imagine how much it would cost to ship it to the UK from the east cost!

Im not sure how shipping to the UK would work. Might be more hastle than it's worth. I had a guy that wanted to buy a camera lense from me. He lived somewhere in Saudi Arabia and it was going to cost $108 to ship it there.

Well, I just got word from Frank that the guy that got the winning bid on his bike FLAKED on him. Gave him some lame excuse why he could not pay for it. 
He is thinking of just keeping it for a while and ride it through the fall and just enjoy her for now.
I hate flakes!

That's a lot of crap. If you bid on something be a man and take responsibility for it. People that flake suck. I have seen it both ways. People who didn't want to pay and people who didn't want their items to go for so little.

Hey All,
Frank Here, The bike is located with me here on the East Coast. As you know the ebayer failed to commit to the sale price. Although I still have a Gent in the UK that wants the bike , It may be a hassle to ship.. I guess the old girl just likes me and wants tol hang around for a while. If any of you guys live on the East Coast , I am in New Jersey Off the Garden State Parkway in the Freehold Area. I would love to ride her, so I am looking for an excuse to ride. Give me a ring to see her, or ride with her.
