07-21-2008, 5:31 PM Anonymous 1982 Honda Silverwing Interstate 500cc Can anyone give me suggestions as to what may be the cause of this problem? First, a little background. The bike was running fine until I took a trip about 2 hours long at 75 mph. There and back about 4 hours. The problem: Once returning home with it, It became hard to start when it was cold, but would start. It would keep winding up but eventually start. Then, when driven any distance at all and reaching operating temprature, it would not start at all once it was turned off. After about 3 hours when it cools down again, it will...finally restart.
