I watch it, but I don't like it nearly as much as the Venture Brothers or Squidbillies.
I have to change the channel when "Fat guy stuck in the internet" comes on or "Assy McGee" or "Tim and Eric". Those shows bring suck to a whole new level.

It was totally brutal. I'm not sure of the body count for this show. I was in the front row, so I missed most of the carnage. I'm pretty sure most of the crowd filled out the pain waiver before the show, so most of the deaths probably won't be reported. But if you get the chance, definitely go see them...and try not to die!!!

You're joking, right? Cartoon Network has really gone downhill lately. Crappy girly anime stuff, and poorly drawn, inane, annoying, and imbecelic garbage. Aqua teen? Assy McGee? That awful Tom thing? Squidbillies? Ed, Ed, and Eddie? Come on, these are garbage. I outgrew fart jokes and borderline retard humor shortly after High School. This kind of stuff isn't funny in the least.
Now, The Grimm Adventures of Billy and Mandy, old Looney Tunes (I am so sick of only seeing the Road Runner for Time Warner commercials), Futurama, Family Guy, Robot Chicken, Teen Titans, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Johnny Bravo, Duck Dodgers, these are all great cartoons that I enjoyed when they were on TV. Hell, they had some decent Japanese stuff onthere for a while too. Akira, Evangelion, Lupin the Third, Berserk, Trigun, etc.
Cartoon Network used to be my wind-down, "have-a-laugh and not think about how much my workday sucked, or how I have to do it all again tomorrow" channel. Now it's just full of toilet humor and crap.
Charles.

Standards have gone down on a lot of things but there are still some that are good to watch. With today's dying market and lack of companies willing to pay artists and writers to do a good job this is all we have to live for. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and so does my girlfriend and if two people top of their class that know how to put the time in to do a good job can't get jobs, get use to the decline.
Everything is going to look like Tom goes to Mayor at this rate.
Step one is the luxury market. Tv, Magazines, Newspaper and other reading or viewing materials.
Step two is secondary personal enjoyment industries.
and the third step is coming.
Customer service of everyday items. Soon your not going to be able to get any help with anything and the person that you ask if you can find anyone is going to be dumb as a rock because the person who knew what and where the item is located has been downsized by corporate.

cartoon network is definitely going downhill. It's only saving grace is Adult Swim, and ironically their best rated shows are reruns of Family Guy and American Dad. Even most of their original programming is horrible. But Metalocalypse, Squidbillies(mostly because of Unknown Hinson...Look him up!), Venture Bros, and some lost classics like Sealab 2021, and Space Ghost Coast to Coast still make it worth paying for cable. If it wasn't for the previously mentioned shows, Nascar races, and Ninja Warrior, there'd be no reason to pay the ridiculously growing prices for cable TV.

I reckon that you had to grow up in the mountains to fully understand Squidbillies. I've known people like Early Cuyler. They are very entertaining folk. The show is an instant classic.

Customer service has been going downhill for years. First it started with credit card readers where you have to swipe the card yourself. Then cashiers slowly disappeared until only one or two lanes were open at any given time. And then they vanished entirely, and now there are self-checkout lanes in every store imaginable. Finally employees just started disppearing from the floor.
I'm sure that the everyday people in line in front of me at the self-checkout are perfectly intelligent and competent in whatever field they work and are probably pretty decent folk. But they take FOREVER to figure out those machines. A single cashier could move the same number of people in the same rate as 4 self checkout lanes move people through. EASILY.
If I have to search the Internet to find advice on which power drill to buy, or hunt high and low for an employee to find out where they hide the pie filling, or check myself out, *I* should be getting a paycheck from that store.
Training and competency and customer care are all disappearing faster than the crab legs at an all you can eat buffet when Rosie O'donnel is in the house. And it's happening so slowly that most people don't even see it.
Charles.
