Before I go at my exaust system with a grinder what are the pros and cons of short pipes and what kind of carb ad justments are needed if any?

What about 2 into1 ?                       ,Thanks

Your carbs will need rejetting (to a bigger size). Your idle mixture screw will need richened, and you and your friends will need to buy earplugs. LOL Why not seperate your exhaust at the front of the H box and leave only the headers. Try that and see how you like it and how it runs. I have never heard anything but good stuff about the 2-1 mac exhaust.

What diameter are those turn-downs you guys have used?

I wanna snag a pair for my bike too to replace the rusty old mufflers it's currently sporting...
